PICTUREGOER MAGAZINE
The National Film Weekly
Week Ending October 22nd 1949
Picturegoer was a British magazine for film fans with wonderful cover pictures that not only informed the readers about films that were newly released but also carried articles about the stars and their lives. There are lots of photos (b&w) in the magazines. Plus the advertisements are great!
In this issue:
- Cover: Olivia de Havilland and Leo Genn
- Judy Garland
- The Fighting O’Flynn - Douglas Fairbanks Jr
- Top O’ The Morning - Bing Crosby, Barry Fitzgerald, Ann Blyth
- Jane Russell
- Take One False Step - William Powell, Shelley Winters, Marsha Hunt, Dorothy Hart
- Trevor Hart
Condition: Very Good - The magazine is in very good vintage condition, showing light reading wear, some light tanning to the pages due to age, and minor creasing to the covers. Staples have rusted. Newsagent’s delivery name on back cover. The magazine pictured is the one you will receive. Given the magazine is over 70 years old its condition is very good, but not perfect!
I accept returns, and if you have any questions - just ask!
