Arithmometer XXX Year 1906

Old Arithmometer XXX, manufactured in 1906 by Seidel & Naumann, Dresden, Germany.

On behalf of this arithmometer is "XXX", 10 x 10 acronym.

The first calculators, like this, were large and had a base and lid in oak wood. It is a desktop model, with an 8 -digit capacity and 12 result. Performs sum, subtraction, multiplication and division operations. To do this, it has a lever on the left side to choose sum-multiplication or subtraction. Another lever serves to "zero" the entrance digits. We can perform 8 -digit operations that are selected with a cursor for each digit. The result of the operations indicates it at the top. It has two levers in the upper right and left to zero the results. Every time we want to perform an operation we must turn the crank that the calculator has in the lower right.

The calculator is preserved in good aesthetic condition, although it is convenient to clean. The machine works, but it goes hard, it would be necessary to clean it a little and grease it. Keep the wood base. This piece is wonderful that facilitated faster mathematical calculation. Rare piece, collection.
