Vintage~Framed Decoupage of a Clipper Ship By Currier and Ives~17.5" x 12 3/8"~Wood Frame~1960's~This is a very unique, decoupaged ship in a very worn/dinged wooden frame. The decoupage ship on wood measures approx. 13 5/8" x 8.75". It has been stored in a hallway closet for many years, within a climate controlled and smoke free home. The name of the print is "Three Brothers, the Largest Sailing Ship in the World". Originally built by the Vanderbilts, it was sold to the US Government in 1861 and used to fight in the Civil War.
