This is an incredible copy of The Norton Facsimile, The First Folio of Shakespeare.  This is a First edition, copyright 1968. The only other reprint since this edition is the 1996 version which sells for around $100 making this vintage edition an amazing deal.  Book is huge and has 928 pages!  Has it all...comedies, tragedies, histories.  See picture that has all the titles listed.

The book is in unread condition.  Unbelievable condition for 55 years old. The pictures I took are just peeking in from an angle so that I don't mess with the new book feel.  Cover is immaculate. Inside immaculate. The original papers that the book came with are still slipped into the front of the book.  One talks about the care of the leather cover.  The other is a description of the making of the book.  It has a beautiful red ribbon place marker.  The edges of the pages at the top of the book are gilded.  It has been stored on a shelf in our home since purchase.  No smokers ever in house. No pets ever in house.  The slipcover is in excellent condition with just some light marks and bumps to corners. Most marks are probably original because of the cloth layer on the box. Check out all the pictures of the exact book and slipcase you will receive and its condition.  Perfect for the gift giving option in my opinion.  Slipcover has a bit of that vintage wear but the book inside is immaculate.  Please feel free to ask any questions or request further pictures or information.

Incredible gift for a graduate or scholar or Shakespeare fan.

The book weighs over 12 pounds boxed which accounts for the shipping cost. I do not mark up the shipping cost at all.
