BESWICK HEREFORD CALF

BESWICK WARE FIGURE

Up for sale I have this wonderful gloss Beswick Hereford Calf - model no. 1406B. This model was issued between 1956 and 1975 and was designed by Arthur Gredington.

The figure is approx. 7.5 cm in height and is in very good, clean all round condition with no chips, cracks or damage. The hooves have no damage nor repairs. There is just the faintest, small line at the base of the left ear which could be a line in the finish or, more likely, a very faint, small firing split in the original finish. Very hard to photograph as so faint but i have tried (see final 2 photos and click to enlarge). It is fully stamped underneath.

A great addition to any collection.
