Simply made, with large, crude dovetail corners, open joints.

Lid fits well and squarely. Held by loop catch with protruding screw end to inner lid – requires padlock to hold it closed, not supplied.

Deep general old, workshop patina, grubby, dusty,  scuffed, scratched and worn with paint spots/marks. Old woodworm evidence especially to one end, plus approx 10 or so to one end, 25 or so to back, 6 or so to front, none to lid top and a few other odds. Odd woodworm holes to inner.

Original, uncleaned.

Clean to inner.

Sound old rusty hinges.

Rusty patina to metal fixings.

Old suitcase handle with wear.

As the majority of our items are vintage and/or used, there may well be dents, dings, chips, cracks, crazing, dust, grime, rips, tears, holes, stains, scratches, breaks, sharp points, splinters, woodworm holes, rot, rust corrosion, discolouration, weathering and wear and tear etc. Items such as sewing boxes or fishing bags may have sharp objects such as hooks or needles hidden in folds etc. Some surfaces may be lead or contain lead paint or other noxious or poisonous substances. Most of our packaging is recycled and may on occasion contain sharp objects such as staples etc.

The strength integrity of many vintage items cannot be guaranteed for example, but not limited to, rope or brackets.

All electrical items are sold for display, refurbishment or spares only. No electrical goods are tested in any way and are NOT sold as safe working items.

All sizes and weights are approximate.

Photos are always of the actual item being sold unless otherwise detailed in the description or are 1 of a number of similar others available. Photographs form part of the description.

We take great care with our descriptions but sometimes errors can occur.

Payment

We do not accept cheques, postal orders or currencies other than GB £s. We do not accept any form of payment sent via post/courier.

Shipping

The postage quoted is for UK mainland deliveries is generally by myHermes.

Please contact us before buying if delivery is to The Channel Islands.

Overseas items are only sent by eBay Global Shipping.

We are unable to pack any items collected by any independent man with a van.

Feedback

Should there be a problem with any purchase please contact us before leaving neutral/negative feedback and we will do our best to redress any issues.

Refunds

We do not accept returns or make refunds on any item of clothing, photographs, movie films, instruction manuals, documents/ephemera, or other similar items.

Where an item is as described but returned, the buyer pays for the return postage.

If you are unhappy with any purchase. Please contact us within two days of receipt. If an item is damaged in transit, please send us photos of the item and the packaging.

For items lost in transit we will require a signed written declaration to the effect.

Unless previously agreed, if an item is paid for but not collected within 2 months, it will be re-sold and no refund given to the original buyer.
