Medal to Commemorate Coronation of King George VI & Queen Elizabeth in 1937 .

This is a Mayoral Medallion minted and cast with wording which reads " To Commemorate the Coronation of KING GEORGE VI & H.M. QUEEN ELIZABETH 12 MAY 1937 .

Also in part of the cast metal it reads Councillor C H BURDEN MAYOR Borough of Beverley by Thomas Fattorini Ltd Birmingham " . 

This comes with its original ribbon , it has some wear but is a rare piece.
