A silver repousse amulet, I do not know if it was for perfume or snuff.  The cap of the amulet unscrews and the threads of this are in excellent condition, very solid. The repousse silver work is beautifully crafted with nice depth and detailing.  The symbolic items appear (to me) to be a peach that dangle off of one side, a pig dangles off the other side. I am not sure what is featured in the repousse on both sides of the amulet but the work is very nice and robust.  The bead is a cinnamon color with deep reddish orange veining, very smooth.    Due to its age and use, there are marks of wear and some tarnish on the silver. 

The weight of the piece is  20.48 grams.   The width of this amulet is 1 1/4" wide. It is 1/2" thick when looking from the side.  It is 5 3/4" long from the top hook to the bottom dangle piece below the bead.
