From a specialized collection of early Canadian documents, here is an increasingly difficult to source Letter Bill with a Split Ring ASHCROFT BC October 13, 1887 cancel and an ASHCROFT STATION BC October 14, 1887 Receiver Cancel.  The 2 strikes are clear and well placed. The Bill has an overall length of (approx) 12 inches - with 3 clean folds down its length. The width is 5-1/2 inches. (See Images 1 & 2). The top folded section clearly shows the 2 distinct strikes. (Image 3). The middle 2 folded sections are shown in Image 4 and the bottom section is shown in Image 5. The document condition is excellent overall [for the time period], with the only visible faults being the "folds" and the larger "pinhole" at the top fold. (See all Images)  (Item #EBC-001)
