It was used by Soviet special units during the Afghan War of 1979-1989. Materials: main - natural tarpaulin fabric 100% cotton, additional - natural lining fabric calico 100% cotton (inner part of the shoulder straps), auxiliary - high-quality Soviet leatherette, straps and reinforcement - 100% genuine leather, sewing accessories - metal 100% steel. The fabric is dense and very strong, resistant to wear and stress. Construction "Abalakov". Coloring protective Sand. The fabric is painted qualitatively, the color is especially durable. Manufactured by CS VOO factory "VoenOkhot №3" Moscow city, USSR, the most famous in the USSR and practically the only enterprise for the manufacture of equipment, including backpacks, for the army and hunting, with branches in Minsk and Kyiv. Year of manufacture 1979. The model has been removed from production.

Description and features of the model:

• a special feature of this model of an earlier design are larger brass metal eyelets, later models have smaller steel eyelets
• the top of the backpack is pulled in with a cord passed through metal eyelets
• the contents of the backpack are securely closed with a top cord, on top of it with a valve overlay and a clasp with 2 durable leather straps passed through metal buckles
• 3 large outer pockets also fasten with leather straps and metal buckles
• on the top flap there is an inner pocket over the entire area with a strap and a clasp for 2 army metal buttons with five-pointed stars
• the backpack itself-in-itself, folds and stows away inside the valve, with the possibility of attaching a semi-ring to the equipment
