Laminated, 4 mm tempered low-iron glass
PRIZMA Glass Splashbacks™ is printed in eco-solvent technology on a high-quality PVB film, and then welded and laminated with a high temperature resistant 4 mm tempered low-iron glass with ground edges. Our modern and advanced technology guarantees high details and amazing colour depth of printed products.
For installation, you should use acid and solvent-free mirror adhesive. We recommend Soudal Fix All Classic glue. A small amount of glue applied directly on a top layer of the protective tape (don't remove the yellow/green strip!) would be enough. The adhesive should not get in contact with a graphic. The amount of glue should be enough to cover the tape but not exceed the layer after pressing it to the wall. The surface under the splashback should be flat, dry and dust free. Please feel free to ask if anything relating to installation is unclear.
CAUTION! Remember that your panels should not have direct contact with fire. Splashbacks are suitable for all kinds of electric hobs. They are also suitable for GAS hobs, but under the condition that the gap between the burner is large enough so the heat from the burner will not reach the surface of the splashback. Splashback is heat resistant but direct heat from fire can reach extremely high temperatures which could permanently damage the graphics. To check the gap, we advise placing the pan on the back burner, and gap between the edge of the pot and splashback should be no less than 8 cm. The edge of the burner should not be closer than 19 cm from the splashback surface.
