Very early 1980's Modernist David Spada Day Glow Rubber Bracelet, Overall excellent condition. We made these early Rubber bracelets for Madonna that she wore in music video's and when performing on stage, as seen in the pictures.  David worked with Rubber before he started to work with Anodized Aluminum. I used to go with David down to Canal street in Manhattan to buy the rubber, to make the jewelry. These Rubber pieces were made on his Kitchen table at his Apt on 13th St between Ave. A & B in Manhattans East Village. This was many years before he finally opened his store on Avenue B. ( 5th picture shows David wearing the Necklace version of this Bracelet ). This is from my personal collection. I was friends with David for years until he passed away  and worked for David when he had his store ( Casa De Spada ) on Avenue B in the East Village between 12th and 13th streets in the early 1980's. The Black bracelets that Madonna would wear too as seen in the pictures were made by Maripol, I use to work with Maripol in 1981 & 82 when she had a little boutique inside the Fiorucci store that I worked for on 59th between Park Ave & Lexington Ave in Manhattan. I have a vast Archive of Spada's pieces made in Aluminum and Rubber from the early 1980's to the 1990's. I purchased these from David for my collection. We made a lot of Jewelry for Grace Jones and Madonna and collaborated with Kieth Haring. All guaranteed originals! This is an unsigned piece, not everything was stamped ( SPADA ). These are RARE pieces in Museums now and very collectable!!!. Please look at the pictures closely as they are part of the description. ******** FREE USA SHIPPING ONLY******* Any Q please email•••••••NO ZERO FEEDBACK BIDDERS•••• CHECK OUT MY OTHER David Spada AUCTIONS******
