This Sony PlayStation 1 / PS One / PS1 Car Power Adaptor for PS One Console and PS One LCD Screen Style #SCPH-170 2001 is in a new item of an old stock. It shows signs of no use or wear. It appears to be in great condition. It has not been used, tested or opened. It is in its original manufactured sealed plastic packaging. The outer plastic packaging has some severe rough wear and tear. The packaging has discoloration, scuffs, scrapes, scratches, marks, cracks, bent corners, indentation marks and nicks due to wear, handling and aging, but is still sealed. The lighting of the camera's flash may make the power adaptor appear as if it has discoloration, but it does not have any discoloration. The midnight black color is dark and non-faded.

 

This car adaptor is exclusively for use with the PS One (PS1) console and the PS One LCD screen. It cannot be used with the PlayStation or PlayStation 2 consoles and is not intended for use with any other products. The car adaptor for PS One can only be used in negative grounded vehicles with a 12 or 24 volt DC battery. For details on your vehicle's grounding and battery type, refer to the owner's manual for your vehicle.

The adjustable plug fits most cigarette lighter sockets. The 10-foot cord reaches to the back seat of most vehicles.

Connect the car adaptor to the PS One console and the LCD screen (for PS one) as shown in the diagram.

For best results, connect and disconnect the car adaptor with the car engine running. Do not leave the car adaptor connected to the cigarette lighter socket when the car ignition is switched off, as this could drain the car's battery.

For safe operation of the PS One console in a vehicle, be sure to follow these safety precautions per manufacturer:

Never use the console while operating a vehicle or when seated in the front passenger seat. Only back seat passengers should use this product. Make sure that the product and its parts, such as the car adaptor cord do not interfere in any way with the driver's operation of the vehicle. Do not use the console in such a way that it could distract the driver. Observe all laws governing the use of portable devices in vehicles. Make sure that the console will not interfere or cause injury if the airbag system is deployed. Do not leave the car adaptor in locations of high temperature or direct sunlight, such as on a dashboard or in a car with its windows closed even when not in use. For safe use of this product, carefully read the supplied instructions manual before use. Refer also to the instruction manuals for the PS one console and the LCD screen (for PS one).

Overall, this car adaptor is in a new unused condition and still has potential for use. Don't let this reasonably priced Sony PlayStation 1 car adaptor get away.
