This is a 2002 Donruss Original baseball set built from two hobby boxes (a single box runs for $180+). This is not a complete set. Dupes have been removed as well as the six "What If" cards. All cards were transferred direct from pack to plastic sleeve and remain in pristine condition. Donruss only made this set one year, but it was a neat idea: presenting stars and rookies in retro styles based on the 1982, 1984, 1986 and 1988 Donruss sets. I pulled 50 short-printed cards from the two boxes, split evenly between stars and rookies and including SPs of Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa, A-Rod, Chipper Jones and Derek Jeter.

In this set, you'll get:
  • 230 base set cards
