You are Purchasing x30 Isopods: Porcellionides Pruinosus (Powder Blue).
They are captive-bred and not wild caught so there is no risk of introducing any pathogens into your enclosure.
Only fed organic feed.
They
are also known as slaters, woodlice, sowbugs, and pill bugs) are
multi-legged, land-living crustaceans found all over Australia. They are
scavengers and feed mainly on decaying organic matter and are
considered beneficial in terrariums, vivariums, paludariums etc.
Isopods
are great recyclers of a bioactive setup. Any decaying organic material
(commonly known as “detritus”) is fair game for these hardcore munching
machines before any rot sets in. So if you want a clean up crew for
your reptile's bioactive enclosure, these isopods are up for the task.
Features:
- Porcellionides pruinoisus do not roll to a ball.
- These isopods are mostly grey/blue or even slightly brown. They look powdery blue just before they molt.
- Their juveniles are orange to yellow.
- They are fast and very active isopods even during the day -diurnal.
Postage is via Australia Post Express TRACKED and sent out on Mondays ONLY.
So
if you purchase on a Tuesday, the parcel will be dispatched the
following Monday. This minimises the chances of the parcel getting stuck
in a post office or distribution centre over the weekend so we dispatch
at the very beginning of every week to increase the chances of you
receiving the parcel before the weekend.
All isopods will
arrive alive and well. In the event that any arrive dead, please get in
touch and we will resolve it immediately.
