A VERY RARE, possibly unique piece of movie history. This is a FIVE-FOOT high and 40 inches wide theatre display from the 1st Re-release of RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK in 1982.

This isn’t just any theatrical display.  This came from the iconic BRUIN THEATRE in Westwood.  The theatre is known for its oversized display windows because it hosts so many premieres and special screenings.

Right place at the right time; I was right there when the theatre staff was changing out the window display in 1982.  This was so big – mounted on heavy fibreboard – that I knew I had to do some fancy talking to convince him that I had to have it..  Thank heavens it worked!  Because no one else has an Indy relic like this.

It’s a combo of the poster and two great photos from the film in a. unique display! A paper poster this size sold on Ebay on June 4 for $1695.00 – without the two photos or the unique display.

It is in average decent shape.  It’s not the mileage…it’s the years – of storage -- that shows the wear.  Corners dinged a little.  A few minor scrapes on the poster and pest evidence on the edges in a few places, but very hard to see given the antique style of the art.  The most noticeable pest activity is around the borders of the photos.  But those cardboard-eating mites have a great sense of design, because they made the photos look ancient – with a Well-of-Souls feel.  Offers accepted due to the less-than-perfect condition.

This is too big to ship I think. It doesn't roll or (Heaven forbid) fold.  Its 3/8" thick fibreboard.  Local pickup recommended.
