Nice brass bound, black lacquer finish lens, faded nickel trim.

"Universal Aplanat, Extra Rapid"

f/8. Looks to be about 10" focal length.

Covers 4x5, 5x7. May cover 8x10 at small apertures.

Well made, nicely engraved.

I believe this is an Emil Busch lens, although it is unidentified.

The lens manufacture, and the engraving style both match other Emil Busch lenses I have seen or owned.

I have seen this exact lens before with the engravings of different sellers and makers, but I believe they were engraved to order.

With mounting flange (maybe removable, but it's very tightly fitted!)

approximate dimensions;

Length overall 53mm

Barrel diameter 40mm

Mounting ring diameter 64mm

Panel cutout required 47.5mm

Mounting hole PCD approx 55mm

glass is very nice for an antique lens, there is minor haze, it's natural, and not intrusive.

Images beautifully when mocked up on my studio camera.

Iris diaphragm is marked f/8, 11, 16, 22, 32, 44, 64
