Hello. I am so pleased to be offering a truly rare, unusual, and unique Ucago girl with a removable hat head vase from my own personal collection.
She is extremely hard to find at all, let alone in such great condition.
Kathleen Cole wrote in her reference book that she had only ever seen one other besides the one featured there.
The girl is highly sought after and coveted among new and seasoned collectors alike.
She is the only one exactly like her currently for sale on ebay.
The girl is wearing a teal jacket with a pink and white polka-dotted scarf.
Her aqua hat is trimmed with a black ribbon; it has circular ridges and scalloped edges.
She has blue eyes and wavy blonde hair complete with bangs.
There is an indented section on the top right side of her hair where the hat's wedge fits in to stay attached.
The girl has no cracks, crazing, paint loss, scratches, or repairs.
She is in near mint condition.
Except for one small area inside, she is immaculate, inside and out.
She has a few non-showing flea bites - on her top inside edge in about the "10 o'clock" position, on the left inner edge of the hat holder, on the back edge of the left black hat bow's ribbon tail, and on the bottom edge of the hat between the two black ribbon tails.
These are all insignificant, each smaller than a pinhead, but are mentioned for the sake of accuracy.
There is also a small smudge on the top of the hat near the front.
These things in no way detract from the girl's attractiveness or value.
The vase's bottom is unmarked but the girl is identified as being a Ucago in the guide books.
Her dimensions with the hat on are 8-5/8" h x 6-1/4" w x 5-1/4" d.
The girl displays beautifully and is super sweet.
She would make a remarkable addition to your collection or could be a precious gift for someone special.
