DIY Clock Kit with Lucite Stand

This "kit" was part of a Ceramic Coaster Clock Kit that we manufactured and sold under the brand: InkJetPrintables.  We have discontinued selling the 5-1/4" ceramic coasters and have a large surplus of these "kits".

Because this is intended for a freestanding clock, the mechanism is CLEAR rather than the traditional ugly black.  It is much less conspicuous.  We included TWO styles of hands, so you chose "Plain" or "Fancy".  NOTE: The Hands have a clear protective film that should be removed before installation.  The film keeps the hands from being scratched before installation.

Make your own 5" to 5-1/2" diameter dial face and use these parts to assemble your own DIY custom clock.  The mounting stud is for thicker clock faces.  It will not look well for paper thin clock dials.  Best is about 3/16" to 3/8" thickness clock dial.  A plastic or masonite or luan plywood backer can used to mount on a printed paper dial face or similar.  The idea is to have the hands relatively close to the dial face.
