Here is a beautiful copy of Sherlock Holmes In London A Photographic Record Of Conan Doyle’s Stories by Charles Viney! This is a first American edition first printing published by Houghton Mifflin Company in 1989. This book is full of black and white photographs of the scenes from many of the great detective exploits. The binding is square and tight and immaculate throughout. The brown cloth boards are extremely clean with one dark spot and six tiny holes on the front board as shown. There is a similar dark spot on the rear board. The gold gilt lettering is bright and beautiful also as shown in the photos provided. The dust jacket is complete and has the original price present on the front flap. The jacket has light wear to the spine ends and corners of which I have included in the pics. The six tiny holes in the front board have corresponding tiny holes in the front panel. There is light soiling to the front panel as well. The jacket comes in a Mylar protector which can easily be removed should you wish to. This copy will make a wonderful addition to any collection or library.
