WW1 German glass canteen from Wiesbaden
in a metal jacket with embellishments.
Tassels, colourful cartoon artwork, metal flap door with a hinge. Many details capped with an eagle shot glass.
Shows wear and use. Crack at 12 o'clock position in the metal only. Loss of paint, discoloration, fading, some light soiling. The cartoon work is faded and dark, but legible. Missing small glass cap under the shot glass. Tassels in good condition for their age.
Approx 7 1/4" high, 5" wide and 1 1/2" dee
Very stylized and detailed Rare German Canteen made of metal and glass. This piece has some great litho art work on both sides as well on the inside which can be seen through the glass heart. Some of the paint has came off over the years but still very collectible.
