The heron represents the migration routes that our people followed across the Cen Anahuac continent (North America) in order to find places to settle, hunt and gather. The heron has the spiral in the center to represent the spiritual journey to connect with these being to learn its language and see the world through its eyes to learn about food and water sources for our people.
