I am selling this lovely detailed 1968 Auction Productions figurine statue with an all over bronze glaze giving it an old world style. It is of a boy with an intense look on his face carving a tree or stump with a hammer and chisel. It looks like he is carving a human face onto the tree stump.

The figure is approximately 7” tall and the diameter of the base is 3.25 x 3” There is a sticker on the bottom that is from the place it was sold, HOLT DRUG CO. There is also felt on the bottom.

It is in really nice vintage condition. If you would look closely at all my pictures, you will see an occasional nick to the brown bronze glaze. This causes a little white spot to show the ceramic Durastone underneath. It is not actually ceramic as we know it. The statue is made of Durastone, not plaster. The casting procedure used by Austin Sculpture is: “The caster puts steel armatures, or supports, into the mold. He then mixes the DURASTONE — a special formulation of crushed stone — into a slurry which is then poured slowly into the mold. These were made to emulate old Greek and Roman classical statures for the home.

I have not washed or cleaned so you would be purchasing as is. A couple of my pictures are a slightly different bronze tone. I took some in daylight and the rest in the evening.

Offers are welcome. Thank you for looking
