British Army 58 Pattern Sleepin Bag OLive Green


General issue sleeping bag,  Used throughout the second half of the 20th century. Prior to the introduction of modern Polyester-Filled sleeping bags.

Known for its quality and warmth Down filled.

The bags are rated to roughly -10 Celcius. Constructed of strong but nylon upper fabric fabric and a strong waterproof base with a heavy-duty central zipper opening.This style was designed to be packed down and rolled into its own waterproof hood, allowing for easy and compact transportation.


Bags are sold as 'one size' may have slight colour variations of olive green to brown.

All Grade 2 been issued so will have writing or names on them and marks from long term storage, but all functionalk and usable with working zips.

Most of these bags date from the 1970s and 1980s and still show their original stamps and manufacurer label from CQC, Chelsea Quilt Company.
