Obverse: Depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley likeness of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the monetary denomination and the date.

Reverse: The U.S.S. Discovery coin's reverse depicts a color image of the U.S.S.

Discovery NCC-1031 against an intergalactic background surrounded by the white olive branches of the United Federation of Planets logo.
