About us
Jamie's Computers is the computer recycling division of The Society of St. James: a Southampton and Hampshire based registered Charity and housing association founded in 1972. The focus of the charity is to address poverty, sickness, hardship and distress, with a focus on vulnerable and homeless people. Over the years it has grown considerably and now provides support to over 2000 people each year. Our services provide treatment and support to individuals and a care home for the elderly homeless.
Jamie's was established in 2002 to provide meaningful occupation to The Society's own residents and service users. Through partnerships with local service providers, probation service, mental health services and education providers, Jamie's now works with a wide range of people across Hampshire including those with metal health issues, learning disabilities and the long-term unemployed.
