Vintage custom made womens circus costume. This came from the Cuneo Estate. We will be listing 3 large totes of similar pieces over the course of the next few weeks. Several have the performers name signed in them. Of the ones named, we have found people who performed in Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey, as well as Polack Brothers and Tripoll Shine Circus. Cuneo founded the Hawthorn Corporation and was married to Herta Cuneo. She is one of the few people who have been inducted into the Circus Ring of Fame. These are a once-in-a-lifetime find ❤️ Own a piece of history.

This piece has some staining. Most pieces that we have been able to date are between 1950s-1970s. We have 2 of this outfit available, the other will be listed separately. This is one of the few women's costumes in the large collection we purchased. This one does not have a brand tag, but it does feel good quality. All the details appear to be hand stitched very well.
