When I was a child more than 40+ years ago my father was in the antique jewelry business. 

From time to time he would come home with different treasures and occasionally he would let me "acquire" them!  

I am selling all of my collection and it ranges from necklaces to sterling pins, to rhinestone Deco pieces and more.

This is an Antique/Vintage Victorian Yellow gold filled (gilt?) Filigree Pin/brooch in a string instrument design (mandolin? guitar?) 

It is missing the pin stem.

It measures approx. 5/8" x 1 3/4".

You could wear this as a pendant if you want to slide a chain through the pin stem once its fixed or you can use this for creative ideas as well.
