This is a REPRINT made some time in the 1980's of a book originally printed in Izmir in 1874. Title is called Masa Hayyim by Rav Hayim Palagi who was the Chief Rabbi of Izmir (Smyrna).

The book contains various contracts, tax probles and haskamot which Rav Falagi encountered during his Rabbinate. The book also contains discussions of various customs of Sephardi communities.

Book contains 140 pages. I found at least 10 cases of Ladino wording used in these cases. This is a great book that sheds light on Sephardi customs and Rabbinic and societal history!
