There are two different style knobs these are shown in photo #2. An 8mm handle which was found on later production BMWs from 1988 and on. From 1987 and before the knob has a 6mm internal diameter. Please add as a buyers note the size you need. If I you don't add the size we will send an 8mm.

Up for sale is a new end knob for your BMW E30, E12, E24 and E28 manual sunroof crank handle. It is made from a high temperature resistant polymer which has some compliance so it simply clicks into place. It spins nice and freely on the metal handle. 

Once installed it can be difficult to remove so please make sure you are happy with the finish before installing.
