Vintage Promotional Herald / Flyer

Up for auction is a vintage souvenir promotional advertising herald or flyer, measuring approximately 5 by 8 inches in size.  Heralds are advertising flyers that are typically placed at theaters, and sometimes included in Playbills and Programs.  This single sheet, double sided herald is for Peter Coe's "Pickwick", featuring the Original West End Cast of Harry Secombe, Jessie Evans, Peter Bull, Anton Rodgers, Teddy Green, Gerald James, Oscar Quitak, Julian Orchard and Hilda Braid, and opening at the Saville Theatre, in London, England, in 1963.

The souvenir herald is in great, vintage condition, with no rips, tears, writing or damage, and minimal soiling and wear.  However, there are five sets of two pin holes each, located at each of the four corners plus at the center of the bottom edge, likely from staples that were holding the herald in place.  In addition, there are two slight horizontal creases where the herald appears to have been folded at one time.
