Trimble RMT 602 Remote Target with Extendable Detail Pole

The detail pole collapses to give a lower target height of 1.49m and extends up to a target height of 2.66m.  The top of the detail pole has a small extension so that the displayed height is correct to the prism centre.  If I remember correctly, the prism offset is zero making it easy to remember and key-in.

The tracking diode and flashing red indicator light are working as shown in the photos of the target without the prism.  These are powered by two 1.5V AA batteries which may not be supplied. The target can also be powered by cable connection.

Being powered by the AA batteries makes the target a useful accessory to survey points inaccessable with other active prisms.  Either using it as a mini-prism or mounting on a very tall detail pole reaching higher than standard poles for active prisms.

The target and detail pole have been a useful part of my survey kit.  I found the prism had a longer range than some other targets and when surveying in robotic mode through vegetation was less prone to lose lock.

Open to an offer on just the target if anyone doesn't want the detail pole as that contributes to the high postage cost, being a long item.  Postage for just the target would be about £3.50.

I have now retired and am selling off my kit. See my other listings for more survey kit on sale.
