These are round glass pendants that measure approximately 25mm. They are clear/crystal glass with a reverse carved intaglio rose. The rose is painted in red with a green stem. They have a scalloped border. There is a small 1mm hole at the top. 


Made in Western Germany. These pendants, also known as crystal painting pendants, or reverse carved pendants are miniature works of art. Each hand pressed glass piece features a smooth buff top through which you can see a detailed intaglio image, molded into the back of the stone. The intaglio carving is then painted or coated, and the surrounding surface is cut or polished to remove excess color and highlight the image.
