The SDT 103 Automotive Smoke Leak Detector is capable of outputting a constant standard test pressure of 32 mbar required by automotive EVAP systems through precise pressure regulation of the external air source, which can output smoke within seconds and can find leak holes as small as 0.5mm.

The smoke can be produced within 30 seconds, and with stable and large amount of smoke output after switch-on (by heating up baby oil). Dramatically reducing diagnostic time.

Special Detection for EVAP
The sdt103 can be used by connecting an external air source and a 12V battery.It is designed with a built-in pressure controller to fix the output pressure at 3.2Kpa (0.46psi), which is especially for EVAP system testing to prevent EVAP Pipes from being damaged by excessive pressure.

Note:
1.When you use this smoke leak detector for the first time, fill with 20ml oil. Please be careful NOT to beyond this range. 
2.Do NOT run the detector over 8 minutes continuously. It needs interval rest.
3.The detector has an intelligent protector, if it exceeds the working limit, such as over 80 ℃, it will automatically turn off the power. In this case, please operate it later.  
4.Use mineral oil based smoke oil, do NOT use water based liquid, water based liquid will heat up quickly and lead to overheating.
5. Before refilling new oil, please pour out the remaining oil in the detector, drain the old oil and then add new oil.
6.To ensure the safety of people and vehicles, the engine does not need to be ignited during use.
