AN 1876 TWO ANNAS COIN FROM INDIA.
ALTHOUGH THERE IS NO MINT-MARK, THE DIAMETER OF APPROXIMATELY 15.75 mm SHOWS THAT IT WAS MINTED AT BOMBAY. IT IS MADE FROM .917 SILVER.
THIS IS A VERY SCARCE YEAR SO IS A DATE THAT IS MISSING FROM MANY COLLECTIONS.
ALTHOUGH IT IS IN CIRCULATED CONDITION, THE PRINCIPAL DETAILS ARE QUITE CLEAR.
