The fabric is a type of soft plush violet or purple velvet with a plum backing designed in a full wide autumn and winter style.

High round neck, shirred three quarter lightly puff sleeves with gathered velvet cuff with ivory voile under ruffle lace edge and fixed velvet bow. Renaissance look wide plum silky ribbon raised waist sash, extra long, to be tied singularly or doubled gathers the velvet to fall in gathered look. Three wide cordage loops to hold the sash and a steel metal mid back zip for closure.
