We’ve just acquired a really clean & original 1971 Fender Jazz Bass w/all the right features, its has its original Sunburst finish over a lightweight Alder body, its White Bound & Block inlaid 4-bolt Rosewood Neck is super clean w/perfect logo & frets, its ink date stamp is quite illegible but she has pot date codes from the 16th week of 1971, its original Tortoise-shell pickgard pulls this all together making it one of Fender’s last great Jazzes, its 2 pickups are super smooth w/that quintessential “Jazz Bass” sound !, “Dig the frickin Red Nylon Strings ! its so cool & original from its tuners to its bridge, its all original in all respects & still retains its bridge & pickup covers & every single screw from new, it has a gorgeous patina for a 52 year old original, it plays & feels incredible, its lightweight having killer sustain & tone qualities, 9 lbs. 9 oz;  she’s an exceptional example w/just a few pings & dings & comes w/a cool export black Tolex Hard Case.
