In 2023 Monnaie de Paris joins forces with the famous french pastry chef Pierre Hermé to celebrate the art of craftsmanship.

Both being members of the Colbert Committee, the two Houses are combining their expertise to present an exclusive collection of coins in the shape of a macaron, the emblematic pastry of the House of Pierre Hermé. 

This prestigious alliance unites Pierre Hermé and Joaquin Jimenez's mastery of their skills, their quest for excellence and their boundless creativity, all while maintaining the aesthetic codes dear to both Houses. 

Mintage is limited to 5,000, weight 1 oz, 999/1000 silver, diameter 39 mm. It's been struck in the art workshop of the French Mint (Monnaie de Paris) at the heart of the city.
