We have a combine experience of over 50 years in the building trade and in developing products from concept to sourcing the right factories to manufacturer.

We excel in Copper & Cast iron baths and have 5 dedicated factories supporting our retail and commercial presence in the U.K and beyond. For almost 15 years we have been supplying copper baths and cast iron baths. At any one time we will have over 200 baths ready for dispatch and if you do not like what you see we will make it for you!

All home deliveries items must be checked at the time of delivery to ensure they are not faulty or damaged. if they appear to be faulty or damaged, then you must refuse the complete delivery and inform our customer services department immediately via eBay messaging. if a product is accepted by the customer and signed for as being in perfect condition, we cannot accept any claim for faulty or damaged goods thereafter. it is the full responsibility of the customer to check the goods thoroughly before signing the delivery documentation. if you decide to accept goods without inspecting them, you do this at your own risk.

REFUNDS AND RETURNS

You may cancel from this agreement at any time up to 14 days after we have delivered the goods to you. If we have delivered the goods, you must not have used them and must have kept them in the condition they were delivered. You must return them to us or request us to collect them, in either case, at your cost.
The goods must be returned to us in perfect condition, with the original undamaged packaging. If any damages occur during transit the customer is responsible in full and a refund will not be given. The total amount to be refunded will be the price paid less any delivery charges.
If you wish to return the goods more than 14 days after we have delivered the goods to you, you must not have used them and must have kept them in the condition they were delivered. You must return them to us or request us to collect them, in either case, at your cost. There will be an additional administration charge of 20% of the purchase price of the goods returned. The initial delivery cost will be borne by you the customer.
We will reimburse any amounts you have paid to us within 40 days of return of the goods, having deducted any return costs and administration fee if applicable.
This guarantee is in addition to any warranties or conditions implied by law and nothing in these terms affect your statutory rights.

Truths About Cast Iron Bathtubs

Cast iron bathtubs have been around since 18th century, no one really can pinpoint who made one first and in which country.  So let us agree that it must of began in the industrial revolution that began in Europe. 

Why buy a cast iron bath as appose to any other?  Tradition! Tradition! I guess that is part of the decision  process.  We present you with the benefits:

Longevity; unlike acrylic baths or fiberglass they will not discolor or be thrown out after only a few years of installing. They will not flex or bend as you stand on them, which can lead to cracks.  The enamel protects the cast iron from oxidization and from scratches, it cannot easily break.  To break it will require a large sledge hammer and a lot of sweat, we know this as we have tried it.

Using the traditional enamel process, the product combines acid and alkali resistance, impact resistance and good thermal insulation performance. Catalyzed by firing at a temperature of 900 degrees Celsius, the two materials (Cast Iron & Vitreous Enamel), which are very different from each other, are fused together.  A technology hardly changed since its conception such a long time ago in the age of iron, steel and coal, shows its many irreplaceable characteristics and qualities to this day.  And having made the choice to buy such a bath it prolongs that memory of an age that still is remembered and Their creations and imaginative inventions are still being used to day.   Pure hand polishing and enamel make this surface finish unparalleled to any other surface for bathtubs.  The only bath tub that can match and surpass this products properties is a marble bathtub.

The process begins with gravity casting.  This refers to the process of injecting molten metal into casting under the action of earth gravity, also known as gravity casting. The molten metal is injected into the hollow casting made of high temperature resistant material and condensed to obtain the desired shape, which is called casting. If you mention cast iron baths to your installers, they will tend to give numerous reasons not to install it.  Having been in the building trade, kitchen and bathroom installations, that negativity stems from having to find the necessary men to lift and take the bath to your bathroom.  It is awkward, but worth all the hassle. Installer normally want something quick to install, saving them time and money.

Weight is an issue to most clients, their first worry is how many to carry the bath to its final location?  Normally, depending on the bath size and weight, you are looking at 2-4 men. They truly need to be strong.  

If your floors are of wood constructions, i.e. joist and floor boards, you will need to check if they are Sound and 8"x2" joists.  Most floors are rated between 500kg - 1000kg.  What we tell most customers if your ceiling can handle 4-5 people standing on it of an average weight of 80kg, its for sure it can carry a cast iron bath.

We ask that all goods are paid for prior to delivery with cleared funds.  Payment can be made via our website over a secure connection. You have the option of bank transfer we will dispatch goods upon cleared funds.

ALL CREDIT CARD/DEBIT CARD PAYMENTS WILL BE SENT TO REGISTERED CARD ADDRESS (PAYPAL PAYMENTS) UNLESS OTHERWISE AGREED.

3. DELIVERIES

Delivery is to mainland UK only. (International deliveries to Mainland Only unless otherwise agreed in writing!)

Goods once ordered will be dispatched with 14 working days of the order been received.  All items are inspected before they are dispatched thoroughly; items are packed and sometimes double packed to ensure that damage does not occur in transit to you the customer.

We at Bathroom Warehouse UK Limited are keen for high level of service in pursuit of that all orders will be confirmed by us primarily via e-mail or over the telephone (in the case of long distance purchases), a dispatch confirmation will be given, this will inform when the goods will be dispatched and inform you of the pending delivery. 

IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU SEND US YOUR TELEPHONE DETAILS TO AID DELIVERY

Both Carriers will attempt two deliveries without any additional charge. If, however, a third attempt is required, £20.00 will be charged. Alternatively, you can contact the Carrier and arrange to collect the item from the Carrier's local depot where that is possible.

Where fragile or large bulky items are being delivered, we will arrange an agreeable delivery date, using a dedicated delivery Company, to ensure the products arrive safely and undamaged. On arrival, fragile goods should be unwrapped and inspected carefully by the customer for any signs of damage. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the items are inspected fully before signing the delivery documentation. A re-delivery charge of £70.00 will be payable if the initial delivery fails, due to the customer not being available at the pre-arranged date.

4. AVAILABILITY  All Our items are always present in our warehouse before listing.

You should NOT arrange fitting any products before receiving and checking the goods.

5. FAULTY PRODUCTS

We pride ourselves in providing quality products, we quality check all our products prior to dispatch. If in the unlikely instance you receive a product damaged or faulty, we ask you to inform us within 48 hours. We will be happy to replace the product like for like at no extra cost to you. All our products carry a 12 month warranty against  manufacture  faults. We will in most cases try  to repair any faults found, if that is not possible we will replace with  a like for like exchange, or if the item is  not available  you  will be given  a suitable  replacement of equal value.

9. COLLECTIONS

 You can collect small items from the store free of charge. You can collect large items free of charge. It is your soul responsibility to ensure that you have adequate means of collection and transport for your goods ordered. We will hold your order at our premises for 14 working days. If this is exceeded we will contact you to make further arrangements.  Before collecting you must contact us and arrange for a pick up time.

10. Personalised and made to measure items

We regret we cannot accept returns on personalised or made to measure items unless they are faulty. In that case they can only be repaired and returned to the client.

This includes any items that are made to a specific length set by the customer (like our Copper Bathtubs or any other item made to your requirements), any bespoke finishes (non stock paint colour (none white in the case of cast iron baths, bespoke veneer or non standard surface finish etc) and those with bespoke design modifications.
