Condition is fair. There are a few pieces with small chips, one cup is cracked, a lot of variance in the design, several instances of overpaint. We're not removing any of the damaged pieces but including with the lot. We will do our best to ship them safely to reduce the chances of any more breakage.

Antique to vintage: We do not have the knowledge from the signature to know exactly when these were made. It falls into the same style, feel and appearance of other eggshell kutani from the meiji period (1868-1912). Considering the lack of "made in nippon/japan" marking it would suggest production before the 1890s, when the McKinley Tariff Act started. However, I could be very wrong and they could have had foil stamps that have been lost and be much more recent (20s to 60s). I simply can't guarantee them being 100+ years old.

WARNING: FOR DECORATIVE USE ONLY. NOT FOR FOOD USE. (There's a good possibility they have lead or arsenic or something.)
