Vintage Live Edge Elm Coffee Table On Dansette Legs - Dual Tone Grain & Open Knot Detail - Rustic Live Edge Occasional Table / Side Table

This stunning mid century vintage elm coffee table is striking with its contrasting dual tone, rustic carved edge, open knot detailing and high varnished finish.

The chunky hardwood elm top is wonderfully asymmetrical in shape and packed full of interesting features. One of the knots is open and allows a view directly through the table top. There is also a sizeable crevice which extends from the dark elm inner wood over one of the lighter edges. It is supported by screw-on wooden Dansette legs painted in a subdued gold shade with adjustable brass feet, a popular design in the 60's/70's.

This piece is the perfect marriage of fine craftmanship and adept handiwork resulting in a timeless piece of furniture which would look great in a variety of areas and for a variety of uses in the home.

Condition wise there is some minor cracking to the paintwork (only) on the legs and tarnishing to the brass feet. These are believed to be a later addition to the top as the underside shows evidence of another set of brackets.

Please note that the table legs will be unscrewed for ease of transportation.
