Classic Portmeirion Botanic Garden canister with wooden lid. Pattern design by Susan Williams-Ellis.
Piece measures 6 3/8 inches tall by 4 1/4 inches across the top. 3 1/2 inches across the base. It has a transfer of a columbine plant and is labeled, "Aquilegia Gracilis" and "Slender Columbine" There are also several butterflies on the scene.
Marked on the bottom as shown with a green and black shield and says "The Botanic Garden Circa 1818 Portmeirion Susan Williams-Ellis 1972 Made in England, Dishwasher Proof Oven to Table Freezer & Microwave Safe"
Very good used condition, No nicks, chips, cracks or crazing. There is wear on the wooden lid.
