These vintage Time magazines are a wonderful resource of news and contemporary thought - giving insight to the news, politics and current affairs of the world. There are articles on Medicine, Religion, Art, Science, Law, Music, Education, Cinema, Theatre, Show Business and all sorts of other subjects. Famously the Time’s cover pictures are fantastic ‘works of art’ and the adverts are great!  Additionally as these issues are the Atlantic Editions, there is a good focus on British and European news, plus coverage of India, Middle East and Africa.

In this issue:
  • Art Work: Boris Chaliapin
  • Harry Truman - The Man of Spirit
  • The McKeon Court-Martial - Staff Sergeant Matthew C McKeon - Marines, Ribbon Creek
  • Suez - Angry Challenge & Response
  • Pilot Frank ‘Pete’ Everest & Bell X-2
  • Music - Cutting the Mustard: Jimmy Drake, Nervous Norvus
  • Music - Symphonic Jam Sessions - Dave & Howard Brubeck
  • Sport - Sprinters Ira Murchison & Willie Williams

60 pages

Condition: The magazine is in good vintage condition, showing light reading wear and some minor creasing to the covers, some sun-bleaching to the spine of the magazine and a small amount of damage to the front cover - visible in the pictures below. Back cover has been badly trimmed by the printer. Given that the magazine is over 65 years old, its condition is very good, but not perfect! The magazine pictured below is the one you will receive.

I accept returns, and if you’d like any further information, just ask!
