This exquisite piece is finely crafted and detailed, and was most likely part of an ornate altar or screen. The fragment is made of nicely carved wood and depicts the mythological Feng Huang bird amidst foliage. The piece is glazed in red and lavishly gilded. It will make a fine addition to any collection!
