A lovely vintage Georgene Novelties cloth doll. Blond yarn hair in braids with yellow ribbons. Painted face on a molded cloth head. Eyes are blue, side-glancing, with large dark blue pupils and a white dot on the irises. Neck pivots head side to side. Black shoes with knit socks. A checked skirt with floral ribbon belt (it’s the same type of ribbon used by the Georgene Switzerland International doll) and a sheer peasant shirt with a small lace collar. No maker marks. Made in the 1930s or 1940s.

The doll measures 13 inches tall.

In good condition. The is some light dirt on the doll’s face and very light stains on the clothes. Otherwise not much wear. See images for details. Original tag not included.
