Recently, many of my past customers and friends have asked when I may list another Hamilton Sherman.

Well, after finding an excellent ORIGINAL example of this desiereable unit, and providing a full well-deserved servicing, I am proudly listing this example this evening. 

Dead-Center in the Mid 50's  Hamilton's Men's offerings, featured the VERY classy Sherman. 

An executive dress watch which exemplified the 50's gentleman's quality watch styling. Distinctive but subtle two tone dial with matte minute track. Masculine angular case with beautiful design elements incorporated, the Sherman is a classy vintage statement.  Excellent wrist presence, as the Sherman really stands out and gains attention from all. 

A gleaming ORIGINAL two- tone dial which shows only the very slightest of age, makes it jump from the wrist at 38mm lug tip to lug tip, and 23mm wide not including crown. A plateau high-wall crystal with no distractions completes the statement. This watch is a mid-century attention getter for sure. 

This particular example is exceptional indeed.  This case shows just very, very, light usage over its obviously privileged life. (see photos).  Expected light usage marks, no wear, (see photos). Hamilton USA's 753 High Grade 19J movement literally sparkles.  Please see photos a very important part of this description.

Being a later variant of the Sherman, Hamilton's famous and stalwart 19 Jewel 753 Lancaster PA made movement powers this example under the hood. The 753 is a very high-grade movement, which has just completed a full service, including fresh mainspring, and sparkles. Runs, winds and sets strongly, keeping very nice vintage time. Comes complete and ready for the wrist with a new croc leather strap.
