Condition:
All plates present. Some foxing to plates. Very good. Printed by Moyes and Barclay, London.
Please see images also. Overall Good-minus cloth boards, can see were originally deep red. Gilt lettering is bright, gilt edging startlingly bright, though spine cover cloth is gone.
VG book relatively light foxing only, plates by A.E. Chalon, some with light foxing, all are clear and sharp, though lettering of titling below each plate faded.
A firm book block to spine despite block splitting in a couple of places.
Three plates missing the tissue cover.
I suggest it's a a really good option for re-binding?
