This is a unique and beautifully handmade, distressed wood, 30cms, vintage/retro look, industrial/boo hoo/shabby chic, style clock.
This ' Sea Drift Beach Bar' 'JSP Clock's 'clock comes with hand painted numerals and design ( red/magenta and white ) on reclaimed wood. It's hand painted, then lightly distressed, sanded, and matt glazed to protect the distressed appearance. The wood is sourced from the UK.
The edge is finished in sprung steel and steel screws. This is a great look and also prevents warping. This originates in Barrel/Casket making. Please note there are rust spots/ marks etc on the steel. Please see photos. This all adds to the unique natural distressed vintage look.
The back is finished with
thick plywood attached to the front with brass wood screws, hidden with wood dowling ( also reclaimed wood ). This is covered with an unique collage of cuts of vintage style wallpaper. Though unseen if you hang on a wall, I want this to be a completly beautiful and unique Clock front and back. You will not find anything close to this else where.
The clock is equipped with metal hands ( hour and minute ) with a high torque mechanism that requires 1-AA battery (not included). The mechanism is silent. The mechanism is recessed into the wood.
The hanger is one saw tooth metal hanger, on a reclaimed wood board screwed to the back of the clock ( one screw will be required in a wall to hang ).
All my clocks are run for at least 2 weeks before being sold to make sure they work properly.

These are my 'JSP Clocks', which I hand sign on each wooden clock, along with 'England'. They are inspired by my trips around the world, visiting various bars and restaurants, and the old shop and business signs,and clocks, I've photographed since the 1980s.
This will be carefully packed with bubble wrap and a strong cardboard box. Delivery in UK will be Parcel Force 48. Europe and Worldwide, Parcel Force Euro or Global Priority.
PLEASE NOTE: Some clocks available on ebay and online, are not old, or reclaimed/distressed wood, or clock faces, but vinyl prints stuck onto MDF! They are often mass produced, usually in China. This however a unique hand made, artisan crafted Clock, made in the UK. The one shown is the one you will receive. Because of the handmade nature of this item, and the wood used, no two clocks will ever be the same and the distressed appearance will be different on each clock. Because this is reclaimed wood, the wood may have a variation in size, grain, and wear. I love and embrace the "rustic" style of my clocks, as grain differences, irregular knots, wear, and minor imperfections add to the charm of a handmade piece. I do my very best to make each clock I make as beautiful as I can, but please expect some minor imperfections!
About Me: I originally trained as a Sculptor, and Photographer. Later I was an acclaimed young Jewellery Designer in London producting collections for stores such as Boules and Miss Selfridge. I've also worked in the film Industry and made props while working as an Art Director. I've been making furniture and interior fittings from reclaimed wood since 2017. I started selling on Etsy in 2022, previously selling many interior pieces on ebay since 2012.
