your own fully personalised sign is really easy. Firstly, simply select the image
you would like on your sign. You can choose from the selection of stock images
listed or you can choose to use your own photo. If you choose to use your own
photo, once you have placed your order, please send me your photo attached to
an ebay message. You can do this via any of the blue message links marked ‘Contact Seller’ which appear on most Ebay pages. If you would like me to check over
your photo before you order, please just attach it to an Ebay message for me. Next,
choose the type of hanger you would like. You can choose from a Manila Rope
hanger, Metal Fixing Hooks (for a more permanent fixing) or have your sign with
no hanger fitted. Next,
in the box provided, simply enter the FULL wording you would like on your sign
and any other instructions or requests you may have. And
that’s your order done. It’s as simple as that. PRODUCT
DESCRIPTION Each
of my signs is carefully cut from a piece of responsibly sourced, top grade,
solid timber. It is then planed to size, hand sanded to a smooth finish and
then given 2 coats of an outdoor weatherproof dark oak wood stain. Then, using a unique heat sealing system, the artwork is added
using a stunning high resolution decoupage of your chosen image and wording on
a colour co-ordinated background. A coat of waterproof sealant is added followed
by a further 4 coats of matt finish marine grade yacht varnish. Depending on
your choice, either hanging hooks or a quality 6mm natural hanging rope is
added to complete the sign giving it a lovely natural, stylish, handmade look
and finish which is UV protected, fade resistant and fully weatherproofed. Your
sign can be left outdoors in all weathers all year round. You
will receive your sign with your choice of hanger already fully fitted. If you
have specified the metal fixing hooks option, these will be fitted to your sign
but the screws required for attaching your sign to a wall/fence/gate etc are NOT
included. EACH SIGN MEASURES APPROXIMATELY 287mm WIDE x 90mm TALL x 17mm THICK FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS How long will it take for me to receive
my sign? I
aim to have your sign finished and dispatched for you within 2-3 days of
receiving your order. With
UK orders, it will then be dispatched for you by ‘Standard Second Class’ post, so should
be with you very shortly after that. You can upgrade to 'next day delivery' at
an additional cost of £6.45 but please bear in mind it still takes 2-3 days to
make your sign. Therefore ‘Next day delivery’ applies to the date of
dispatch, NOT from the date of your order. With
International orders, once made, your sign will be dispatched to Ebay’s ‘Global
Shipping Centre’ here in the UK and then redirected by Ebay for delivery to
you. Delivery timescales for international order vary, but the estimated
delivery times placed on the listing by Ebay should be fairly accurate. How much wording can I
have on my sign? I
do the layout for each sign individually, so you can have as much wording as
you like. Please just bear in mind that the more wording you have, the smaller
the text will need to be to fit on your sign. If you have any doubts, please feel
free to send me your wording before ordering and I will advise you accordingly. Are the signs
weatherproof? Yes.
Your sign will be fully waterproofed, frost proofed, weatherproofed and given
UV protection using colourants, sealants and several layers of marine grade
yacht varnish. Your sign can be left outside in all weathers all year round. What if I make a mistake
on my wording? Please
don't worry. Once you have placed your order I will check all of the details
you have given me thoroughly. If I have even the slightest doubt or query over
any aspect of your order, such as layout, wording, grammar etc, I will contact
you to check before I go ahead and make your sign for you. I would like to use my own photo, but can you crop my image for
me? Yes,
I will always try to make your photo or photos look their very best on the
sign, but please note that if you use your own photo, it will appear on your sign with the full background included. I can't remove the background to isolate the subject for you. What size is the sign
please? Each
sign measures 287mm wide x 90mm tall x 17mm thick. Can I have a sign made a
different size or in my own specific colour? Sorry,
no. I only do the one size of sign. What happens if my sign
arrives with errors or has been damaged in the post? Either
of these are happily very rare, but if it should happen, I will normally just
ask you to provide me with a couple of photos of the mistake or damage, and I
will make and send you a replacement straight away. If this is because of
damage caused in transit, I will normally ask you to keep the sign for a short
time while I make a claim for damages from the Post Office. Occasionally, I may
need you to return the sign to me. Should this happen, I will pay the cost of
return postage. Will you use my sign
as one of your examples on your Ebay shop? No,
never. Imagery of your finished artwork or item will not be used on Ebay or
anywhere else. It is your own personal sign and will remain that way. The
example signs shown on my Ebay shop are all generated by me to show what sort of thing you can have done on your own sign. I've never order anything
personalised before and I'm concerned that the finished sign won't look like
what I had in mind. Please
don't worry. Once you have placed your order I will check all of the details
