Ladder with
Diamonds (Fine Cut and Ribbed Bars; Mobile) punch bowl base. Duncan and Miller
Glass Company #52 circa 1904. The glass is clear and any colors you see in the
photographs are reflections from the indoors where I photographed the
piece. The punch bowl base has mold
marks and straw marks and bubbles common in this era of glassware. Good color and clarity (glass is a little
toward the grey spectrum) and impression from the mold is crisp. Inside rim of
base has mold roughness and some small flat chips. There is some fogginess
inside top where the bowl would sit. Lovely! About 5 1/2” to bottom of lip. About 8
3/8” in diameter at bottom. Flange for bowl 6” od. And 5 ¼” inside, height 5
7/8”. Weight before packing 4.178
pounds. Please email with questions or comments.
